Obituary of Leo Kowalczik

Leo Kowalczik of Westtown, NY, a retired dairy farmer and lifelong resident of the area, entered into rest on Saturday June 24, 2023.  He was 95.

The son of the late Alexander Kowalczik and Mary Popsui Kowalczik, he was born on June 28, 1927 in Westtown, NY.

He is survived by his son, James Kowalczik (Susan); son, John Kowalczik (Ann Christine); son, Jack Kowalczik; daughter, Jean Brady (Michael); son, Jerry Kowalczik and son, Jeff Kowalczik; he is further survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Kowalczik; 3 sisters, Jean Palmer, Eleanor Elder and Lottie Sakevich; and 2 brothers, Sigmund and Alexander Kowalczik.

A funeral mass will be held 10:30 am on Tuesday June 27, 2023 at St. Stanislaus Church, 17 Pulaski Highway, Pine Island, NY 10969.

Burial will be held in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island, NY.
