Richard J. "Benny" Beneski of Chester, NY, a retired produce manager for ShopRite in Florida, NY, entered into rest on Monday, October 5, 2015 at home. He was 74.
The son of the late Andrew Beneski & Bertha Stankiewicz Beneski, he was born March 16, 1941 in Goshen, NY.
He was a member of the Sugar Loaf United Methodist Church, Sugar Loaf, NY
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann Beneski; Son, Mark Beneski & wife Tammy of Virginia; Son, Brian Beneski & wife Molly of Maine; 5 Grandchildren, David Beneski & Heather McCoy; Samantha Beneski; Isabel Gerencer & Emily Gerencer; 2 Great grandchildren, Ruth & Gage McCoy; Brother, James Beneski; along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th from 3-7PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral service will be held 7PM Saturday at the funeral home. The Reverend Susan Chupungco will officiate.
There will be no burial and cremation will be held privately.
