Obituary of Timothy G. McNally
Timothy G. McNally of New Hampton, NY, a retired corrections officer for Mid-Orange Correctional Facility, Warwick and assistant manager of the Orange County Fire Training Center, New Hampton, entered into rest on Friday, May 24, 2024. He was 66.
The son of the late Lawrence McNally and Jean Brasted McNally, he was born on January 31, 1958 in Middletown, NY.
Tim as a member for over 40 years, a Past Captain, Past President of the Excelsior Hook and Ladder Co. # 1, Middletown, NY. He was very dedicated to his fire company. Tim was a man of integrity, he was compassionate, loving, funny and family always came first. He was a man of few words and a friend to all.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna Pason McNally; daughter, Heather McNally; son, Lawrence McNally; mother-in-law; Gloria Pason; his siblings and their spouses, Sharon Maurer (Tom); Dan McNally (Jackie); Tom McNally (Debbie); Kathy Walters (Bill) and Gwen McNally; his other In-laws, Rhonda Robinson (Jim); Bobby Pason (Lisa); Kevin Pason (Sandy); Debbie Kerstanski (Dennis); along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Kevin McNally.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28th from 3-7pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route# 1, Pine Island, NY 10969. With firematic services being held at the funeral home Tuesday evening, 6:30PM.
A funeral mass will be held 11AM Wednesday, May 29th at St. Stanislaus Church, 17 Pulaski Highway, Pine Island, NY. The Reverend Frank Borkowski will officiate.
As per his wishes, a private cremation will follow the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc., 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
