Obituary of Bozena Gorczynski

Bozena Gorczynski of Westtown, NY, entered into rest on Friday, January 3, 2025 surrounded by her children.  She was 69.

The daughter of Henryka Bienkowska Lipka and the late Heronim Lipka, she was born June 29, 1955 in Grabowek, Poland.

She was retired from NJ Transit in Port Jervis, NY.

Bozena was predeceased by her husband Ludwik “Louie” Gorczynski.

She is survived by her mother Henryka Lipka; son Eric Gorczynski; daughter Jessica Gorczynski and Justin; sister Iwona Lipka; aunt Wiesia Coates and her husband Donald; aunt Zadwiga Medenecka; as well as several cousins, sisters in law & brother-in-law on the Gorczynski side of the family, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews.

Graveside services will be held 11AM Wednesday, January 8^th at the Orange County Veteran’s Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY 10924.

Since Bozena was a recipient of a lung transplant, she wishes those to consider organ donation, to give others a second chance at life.
