Mary Rogowski of Pine Island, NY, entered into rest on Saturday, February 20, 2016. She was 85.
The daughter of the late Anthony Rogowski & Barbara Drzymala Rogowski, she was born on March 1, 1930 in Warwick, NY.
She was a member St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island; and a life member of PLAV Post # 16 Ladies Auxiliary, Pine Island. She was the 1966 Harvest Moon Champion.
She is survived by sister, Agnes Osczepinski and her family, Monica, Tim & Johnny O'Connor; Niece, Rebecca Osczepinski; Sister-in-law, Irene Rogowski; along with numerous other nieces & nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Jean Kaminski and Loretta Todman; 4 brothers, Charles, Zigmund, Alex & Walter Rogowski.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd from 9:30AM-12Noon at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 Co Rt#1, Pine Island, NY 10969.
A funeral mass will be held 12Noon Tuesday, February 23rd at St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island, NY.
Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Warwick Community Ambulance Corps., PO Box 315, Warwick, NY 10990.
