Henry "Sonny" Finkel of Florida, NY entered into rest on April 12, 2016 in Valley View Center in Goshen, NY. He was 80. He was the retired owner of Fink's Market, Florida, NY.
The son of the late Henry and Genevieve Kurlowicz Finkel he was born October 27, 1935 in Manhattan, NY.
Survivors include 10 Children, Jean Marie Rankin; Darlene Finkel; John Finkel; Aaron Finkel ; Steven Finkel and wife Judeth; Jim Finkel and wife Susyn; Catherine Thompson and Husband Michael; William Finkel; Gus Finkel and Marcella Maloum and husband Mahammed of AZ.; Brothers Stephen, James and William Finkel; Sister Barbara Swanson of South Amboy; many grandchildren , great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday April 14, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral mass will be held 10 am on Friday April 15, 2016 at St. Joseph Church 20 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY 10921.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
