Joseph J. Kozala a lifelong resident of Goshen, NY, died suddenly on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. He was 70.
The son of the late Jacob Kozala & Edith Bonczek Kozala, he was born August 16, 1946 in Goshen, NY.
He was a member of St. John's Church, Goshen, NY and a former member of the County Seat Hunting Club. He briefly served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.
He was always a "Father Figure" to all of his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Joey not only loved his family, but his farming and Massey Fergusons.
Survivors include his 2 sisters, Dolores Chain & husband Edward of Campbell Hall; Christine Hink & husband Raymond of New Hampton; brother, James Kozala Sr. & wife Marie of Goshen; brother-in-law, Richard Majewski of Warwick; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Florence Majewski.
As per his wishes, there will be no visitation and cremation will be held privately.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:00AM Saturday, October 22nd at St. John's Church, 71 Murray Avenue, Goshen, NY 10921.
Burial of cremains will be held at St. John's Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Goshen Volunteer Ambulance Corps., PO Box 695, Goshen, NY 10924.
