Cecelia Zeszutek of New Hampton entered into rest on July 14, 2010 at the Kaplan Family Hospice residence, Newburgh,NY. She was born on January 27, 1928 to Anthony and Katherine Kowalski of Washingtonville, N.Y. She was 82 years old. Cecelia was married to Ferdinand Zeszutek who departed on March 15, 1995. They were married 52 years. Cecelia is survived by her children and their families: Catherine and husband Paul of Unionville, NY; Granddaughter Laura and husband George Turturiello and greatgranddaughter Kristina of Honesdale,PA, Granddaughter Jill and husband Alec Usticke and great grandchilden Saffy and William of Peekskill,N.Y., Grandson Paul Jr., and wife Haroulla and great-granddaughter Alyssa of Greenville; son Frank and wife Sharon of New Hampton, granddaughter Dawn and husband Dan Farley and great grandchildren Kiara,Tyler and Caryn of Port Jervis, NY, Granddaughter LoriAnn and husband MacKenzie Mann and great-grandson Evan of New Hampton ,NY; and grandson Frankie Jr., also of New Hampton. Daughter Betty and husband Tony Gulla of Greenville and granddaughter Janine and husband Sandro Rodriquez of Greenville and great grandson Paulie; grandson Tony Jr., and wife Ellen and great- granddaughters Ashley and Mickaela of Glen Spey, NY; Daughter Rose and husband Emmet Doty of Ridgebury and grandson Paul and wife Staci and great grandson Devon of Greenville NY; grandson Brian and wife Robyn of Pine Bush and great grandchildren Taylor and Brandon; Son: James and wife Sandra, her best friend, of Otisville,NY and grandson John and wife Tiffany of Huntersville,N.C.,and great grandchildren Ansley and Cole. Daughter Lorraine Harty of Greenville,NY grandson Robbie, and great-grand daughters Natasha and Nicole. Cecelia had 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by grandsons James Jr., and Jeremy. Lillian remains her only living sibling. She was predeceased by siblings Jenny, Chester, Benjamin, Anna, Edward and Walter. She has many nieces and nephews and their families. Cecelia is best remembered by her love for her family, beautiful flower gardens, QVC fan, always interested in the news and weather reports, and Dancing with the Stars and Olympic viewer. She enjoyed teaching grandson John & his friends how to make pierogies as well as Sunday drives and dinners or breakfast out with Jim and Sandy. She was a great cook. She was kind and loving and cared for her late husband at home during his lengthy illness. She loved to go fishing. She was a quiet person who possessed great patience and wisdom. She fought her battle with cancer with great courage and determination. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
