Elizabeth “Betty” Curry formerly of Florida, NY entered into rest on Monday December 13, 2010. She was 96.
The daughter of the late John and Caroline Harter Lisack she was born May 21, 1914 in Florida, NY.
She was married to the late Ralph Curry .
Together Betty and Ralph ran Ralph Curry and Sons Plumbing and Heating.
She was a member of St. Josephs Church, and St. Josephs Rosary Society , Betty was also a den mother for Troop 44 Florida, NY.
She is survived by: 2 Sons John Curry of Tobyhanna, Pa; Ralph “Bob” Curry of Florida, NY;
Grandchildren Patricia House , Robert Curry, Colleen Stowell and Christopher Curry;
Great-grandchildren Campbell House III , Christin House , Robert Curry, Sean Curry, and Shannon Curry.
and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 15, 2010 from 10 AM To 12:00Noon at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave. Florida, Ny 10921.
Funeral Mass will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday at St. Josephs Church 20 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY.
Burial will take place in Florida Cemetery at the convience of the family.
In Lieu of Flowers Donations may be made to Florida Fire and Rescue Po Box 600 Florida, NY 10921.
