Obituary of Edward Nowicki

Edward Nowicki of Warwick, NY entered into rest on Wednesday July 17, 2014. He was 58. The son of the late Chester Sr. and Helen Bonczek Nowicki he was born Oct. 27, 1955 in Goshen, NY. He leaves behind his daughter Andrea Nowicki of Florida, NY; Sons: Alexander Nowicki of Montgomery, NY; Phillip Nowicki of Hensonville, NY; and SSgt (USMC) Steven J. Nowicki & his wife Barbara of New Hampton, NY; his sister Marie Ceruto & her husband Richard of Parsippany, NJ; his brother Chester & his wife Helen of St. Cloud, FL; and beloved grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers Dave Nowicki & Richard Nowicki Ed was a kind hearted man that would do anything for anyone. It didn't matter whether he just met you at Quick Check or he knew you for years, he would gladly help you with whatever you needed. Ed was a long time precision machine maintenance engineer so by trade he was a perfectionist and there literally wasn't a task he couldn't handle. He loved skiing and the pond skimming contest at Mt. Peter's Spring Rally will never be the same. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 23, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY. The funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Thursday July 24, 2014 at St. Joseph's Church, 20 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY Rev. Bernard Heter will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Pets Alive of Middletown, NY.
