Laurie Szmidt, 39 of Walden, NY entered into rest on Friday, December 16, 2011 in St. Luke's Hospital, Newburgh, NY.
She is survived by three daughters, two sons, two brothers and two sisters. Kaitlyn Szmidt of Kingston, NY, Sean Iribarren of Montgomery, NY, Brittany Szmidt of Wurtsboro, NY, Matthew Szmidt of Wurtsboro, NY and Savannah Warren of VA. Also by her husband James Szmidt of Wurtsboro, NY, her mother Faye Evans of VA, Gerald Evans Jr. of VA, Robert Conklin Jr. of MI, Patricia Evans of NY and Marjorie Evans of NY. She was predeceased by her grandparents James Hobencamp, Dorothy Hobencamp and her daughter Danielle Szmidt.
Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29th from 1-3PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route# 1, Pine Island, NY 10969.
