Barbara Claus of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at ORMC, Middletown. She was 89.
The daughter of the late Augustine Salvato & Pauline Abbenante Salvato, she was born on January 9, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY.
Survivors include her daughter, Gladys Angelico and husband James of Florida, NY; Grandson, James Angelico III of Florida, NY. And her two "best friends", Sam & Bailey. Brother, Joseph Salvato & wife Linda of New City, NY. And several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5th from 2-4 & 7-9PM at T.S. Purta Funeral, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral mass will be held 9:30 am on Friday, July 6th at St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY.
Interment will be St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pets Alive, 363 Derby Road, Middletown, NY 10940.
