Anton Folkl, formerly of Park Ridge, NJ & Chester, NJ, entered into rest on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick. He was 91.
The son of the late Martin Folkl & Eva Weigand Folkl, he was born on December 22, 1920.
He was a member of HARP Senior Citizens, Chester, NJ.
Survivors include his son, Edward Folkl & wife Ellen of Middletown, NY; daughter, Stephanie Johnson & husband Warren of Steamboat Springs, Co; son, Walter Folkl & wife Carol of Florida, NY; 7 grandchildren, Melissa, Bryan, Eric, Kathleen, Christopher, Brendan & Jeanine; brother, John Folkl & wife Charlotte of Red Hook, NY. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Caroline.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY10921.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:00AM on Wednesday, July 25th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY.
Burial will be in Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY.
