William R. Preis Sr. of Warwick, NY, formerly of River Edge, NJ, entered into rest on Monday, April 8, 2013. He was 91.
The son of the late John & Emma Best Preis, he was born September 4, 1921 in Emerson, NJ.
He was a US Air force WWII veteran.
Survivors include his son, William R. "Randy" Preis Jr. & wife Ellen of Warwick, NY; daughter, Karen Preis of Northfield, VT; Grandsons, Alden & Bradley and granddaughter, Nora of Warwick, NY. Mr. Preis also leaves behind his wife Irene Lange of Venice, FL; as well as nephews and families of John, Donald, Paul & Arthur Preis of Bergen County, NJ.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Gilda L. Ziegler, sister, Gertrude, and brothers, John & Arthur.
Funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc., 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
Special thanks to Ellie, Joanne and JeanMarie for the love and care they gave to Dad.
