Obituary of Loretta Lottie Dombroski

Loretta "Lottie" Dombroski of New Hampton, NY a lifetime resident of New Hampton ,entered into rest on Monday July 8, 2013 in ORMC, Middletown, NY. She was 85. The daughter of the late Peter and Eva Nieradka Dombroski, she was born on Feb. 2, 1928. She was married to the late Leonard "Joe" Dombroski for 61 years. Loretta was a graduate of OCCC and had attended Lower Road, Pellets Island and Goshen High School. She served her community for 24 years as a councilwoman for the Town of Wawayanda. She was on the Board of Directors for Orange County Cooperative Extension serving with the Home Economics and the 4H divisions. Loretta was a retired receptionist for Ottoway Newspapers in Campbell Hall, NY. She is survived by her four children, two sons, Robert of New Hampton, and Edward and his wife Cheryl of New Hampton, two daughters, Carole of Seattle, WA and Kathleen of Nashville, TN, two grandchildren Eric of Albany,NY and Heather of Annandale, NJ ; one sister Edna Pahucki of New Hampton, sister –in-law Theresa Dombroski of Newburgh, and many nieces and nephews who were special to her. She was deeply loved by all of her children, all of her family, and all who knew her. She was predeceased by her brothers Barney, Chester, Waddy/Miner and Peter, sisters Elsie Zawaski and Sophie Karnis. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 11, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 690 Co. Rt. 1 Pine Island, NY. A funeral mass will be held 10 am on Friday July 12, 2013 at St. Stanislaus Church 17 Pulaski Hwy. Pine Island, NY. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery Pine Island, NY.
