Obituary of Donald E. Masker

Donald E. Masker of Warwick, NY, owner of Masker's Taxi Service in Warwick, NY for 25 years, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. He was 87. The son of the late Alfred E. Masker & Gertrude S. Smith Masker, he was born on December 8, 1925 in Warwick, NY. He was a U.S. Army Korean Veteran. He was also a longtime member of the Goodwill Hook & Ladder Company of the Warwick Fire Department. Survivors include four children; Donald Masker Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; Pam Sulano of Madison, NJ; Debbie Venneri of Saugerties, NY; Edward Zayas and wife Patricia of Westtown, NY; sister, Margaret E. Green of Claryville, NY and 9 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Catherine "Kay" Masker; 4 brothers, John, Douglas, Richard and Alfred Masker Jr.; 1 sister, Amy Simms. Memorial visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday, November 23rd from 12-2PM at the Goodwill Hook & Ladder Company, Station#1, 25 Church Street, Warwick, NY 10990. Cremation was held privately and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Warwick Cemetery.
