Obituary of Walter Frauenheim

Walter Frauenheim, of Florida, NY, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2014. He celebrated life for 91 wonderful years.
Walter proudly served our country during WWII with the Army Corp of Engineers. He worked as a machinist with Superior Tape until retirement. He was a life member of the Paramus Volunteer Ambulance Corp and Past Captain, in Paramus, NJ. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1250, Florida, NY and the VFW Post 4662, Warwick, NY and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Warwick, NY. He was also a valued volunteer at the Florida Community Food Pantry. He will be greatly missed.
Walter is survived by his children: Janet Burmeister and her husband John of Toms River, NJ; Denise Thibault of Florida, NY; and Walter Frauenheim Jr. of New Jersey; eight grandchildren: John, Jason, Diana, Deirdre, Jennifer, Ryan, Raymond and Juliet. He also had five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred.
A Christian Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Warwick at 11am. Interment will be Monday, November 10, 2014 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
