Obituary of Paul Wojtaszek

Paul Wojtaszek formerly of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Friday, June 29, 2018.  He was 72.

The son of the late Barney Wojtaszek & Joan Kosior Wojtaszek, he was born November 7, 1945 in Warwick, NY.  He was an accomplished musician who was proficient in thirteen different instruments.  He valued education and received a number of degrees in business, finance and music.  Paul held numerous careers over his lifetime including teaching, band leader, music director, production manager, plant manager and plumbing specialist.  Later in life, he became an international traveler visiting destinations in fourteen countries.  He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Rose Dzierzek Wojtaszek formerly of Florida, NY; children Vincent, Michael & wife Erin, Christine; grandchildren Aiden, Saige, Brianna, Dominik; sister, Barbara Wojtaszek formerly of Florida, NY, a number of cousins and nephews and his beloved cat, Ling Ling.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 6th from 2-4& 7-9PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

Funeral Mass will be held 10AM Saturday, July 7th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with incurred costs.
