Obituary of Angelina Muccio
Angelina Muccio of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Monday, August 20, 2018. She was 93.
The daughter of the late John Maisto & Concetta Trematerra, she was born on March 16, 1925 in Greenwich Village, New York City.
She was an office administrator for the Parole Revocation Unit of the New York City Legal Aid Society. She retired in 1985 when her favorite and only grandson, Robert Christopher Katulak was born. In 1995 she and her husband Vincent moved from Middle Village, Queens to Florida, New York where she lived for the past 23 years.
She was active in the Cedarcrest Community in which she lived. She was a very active member in the Golden Floridians and their Bingo caller. Her favorite recreation was trips to the casinos with her seniors and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Johanna Katulak & husband Robert as well as her favorite grandson, Robert Christopher Katulak; she is further survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law, Benjamin Valenti.
She was predeceased by her husband Vincent Muccio; sisters Prudence & Quizzia and her brother, Joseph.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 21st from 7-9pm and Wednesday, August 22nd from 2-4 & 7-9pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
A funeral mass will be held 10AM Thursday, August 23rd at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
