Christopher McCaffrey of Middletown, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 3, 2018.  He was 47 years old.

 

The son of Eileen Purcell & the late Charles McCaffrey, he was born on February 16, 1971 in Warwick, NY.

 

Chris loved California, music and bird watching.

 

He is survived by his mother, Eileen Purcell; Aunts & Uncles, Gail & John Kirschner; Robert & Ellen Purcell; Mary (Purcell) Varacalli & Andy Varacalli; Christine Vigianni (the love of his life); along with many cousins & friends.

 

He was predeceased by his uncles, Kevin & Edward Purcell; and his best friend & dog, Duncan.

 

As per the families wish, cremation will be held privately.

 

Very special thanks to Kaplan Family Hospice Residence Staff & to Tim Purta of Purta Funeral Homes for their comfort and understanding.
