Obituary of John R. Palmer Jr.

John R. Palmer Jr., 28, of Maybrook, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Long Island. 

John was the son of Deborah Gardner Palmer & the late John R. Palmer. He was a graduate of Valley Central High School and had attended Dutchess Community College.

John was a truck driver for Baxter Healthcare in Montgomery, NY delivering medical supplies.

John’s happiest moments were when he was spending time with his daughter Aubrey. He was looking forward to her 2nd birthday in a few weeks.

John is survived by his daughter, Aubrey Palmer; mother, Deborah Palmer; sister, Tiffany Paul and her husband Jesse of Maybrook; sister, Kelly Lacrosse and her husband Bill of New Orleans, LA; his daughter’s mother Brittney Peiffer of Highland, NY; uncle Edward Palmer Jr. and his wife Evalyn of St. Augustine, Fl.; uncle Douglas Gardner and his wife Dorothea of Wappinger Falls, NY; grandmother, Joan Palmer of St. Augustine, Fl.; and several nieces, nephews & cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 10th from 2-4pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

Cremation will be held privately.
