Obituary of Tadeusz "Teddy" Olejniczak
Tadeusz “Teddy” Olejniczak formerly of Florida, NY, a retired maintenance worker for Valley View Center, Goshen, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. He was 86.
The son of the late Stanley & Marie Wolnoska Olejniczak, he was born on December 20, 1932 in Zastawie, Poland.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather Marie Plocharczyk (Sal Murabito) of Florida, NY; stepson, Steven John Boyea of Middletown; 12 grandchildren, Cortnie, Connor, Stephanie, Niki, Brooke, Kelsi, Cody, Steven Jr., David, Amber, Kyle & Dustin; several great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Mickey Olejniczak of Middletown, NY; John Olejniczak (Martha) & Zygmund Olejniczak (Lona) of Florida, NY; 4 sisters, Longina Romaniuk of Suffern, NY; Eileen Stelmaszczyk (Marion) of Kinnelon, NJ; Irene Calderon (Tony) of Tennessee; and Mary Coleman (Robert) of Florida, NY; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Bernice Fairweather Olejniczak; stepmother, Adela Draszek; brother, Stanley Olejniczak and stepdaughter, Michele Anne Schroeder.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27th from 4-8pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
A funeral mass will be held 10AM Monday, January 28th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church, 14 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921 or to the Florida Fire Department, PO Box 600, Florida, NY 10921.
