Obituary of Alfredo Martinez

Alfredo Martinez of Chester, NY entered into rest on Sunday December 20, 2020.  He was 78 years old.

The son of Julio and Celina Blasini Martinez he was born on April 18, 1942 in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Elsie Martinez; daughter Luz Martinez; daughter Madeline Quinones and husband Pedro; daughter Lorraine Ross and husband James; daughter Jessica Martinez – Romero and husband John; grandchildren Gabrielle & Christopher Quinones; James M., Ryan & Emma Ross; John, Joshua & Alexandra Romero; and brother Julio Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 23, 2020 from 9:30 am – 12:30 PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY 10921.

A funeral mass will be held 1 pm on Wednesday December 23, 2020  at Sacred Heart Church 26 Still Rd., Monroe, NY .

Cremation will be held privately.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions and guidelines set forth from the state face coverings are required and the number of visitors allowed in the funeral home and the church is limited so we ask that those that may have to wait to enter please follow social distancing guidelines.
