Obituary of Longina Romaniuk

Longina Romaniuk of Suffern, NY, formerly of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.  She was 93.

 

The daughter of Stanlislaw Olejniczak & Maria Wolnowska, she was born on May 8, 1927 in Zastawie, Poland.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Christina Romaniuk of Suffern, NY; son, Stefan Romaniuk (Christine) of Boston, MA; son, John Romaniuk (Susan Sheridan) of Loudonville, NY; 2 grandchildren, Jessica Dekermanji (Anthony); Justin Romaniuk; 2 great grandchildren, Matteo & Olivia; 3 sisters, Eileen Stelmaszczyk (Marion) of Kinnelon, NJ; Irene Calderon (Tony) of TN; Mary Coleman (Robert) of Florida, NY; 3 brothers, Mickey Olejniczak; John Olejniczak (Martha) & Zygmund Olejniczak (Lona) all of Florida, NY; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

 

She was predeceased by her husband Jozef Romaniuk; stepmother, Adela Draszek; 2 brothers, Stanley & Tadeusz Olejniczak.

 

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5th from 3-6pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY 10921.

 

A funeral mass will be held 1PM Saturday, March 6th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY 10921.  CLICK HERE to view the funeral mass live stream.

Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
