Obituary of Helen Louise Thorell

Helen Louise Thorell of Florida, NY, formerly of New Britain, CT, entered into rest on Thursday, July 01, 2021.  She was 88.

The daughter of the late Ralph R. Ruble & Myrtle R. Freed Ruble, she was born on July 23, 1932 in Altoona, PA.

She is survived by son, Robert Manning Jr. (Eileen) of Reading, MA; daughter, Robin Fraser (Alistair) of Florida, NY; daughter, Corinne Hayes (Kenneth/Anita) Niagara Falls, NY; 5 grandchildren, Carol Hammond; Brendan & Maureen Manning; Andrew & Heather Fraser; sisters-in-law, Georgann, Peggy & Rose Ruble; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Oscar Thorell; son, Thomas Thorell; and brothers, Donald, Richard & Kenneth Ruble.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 5^th from 2-4PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.  With funeral services being held 4 PM at the funeral home.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions and guidelines set forth from the state face coverings are required for those who have yet received full vaccination.
