Obituary of Patricia A. Lempka
Patricia A. Lempka of Florida, NY a retired book keeper for UGI Utilities, Inc., Milford, PA, entered into rest on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at home. She was 85.
The daughter of the late Frances E. Heter & Joseph Lempka, she was born July 16, 1936 in Florida, NY.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church where she was the organist for 37 years and a member of St. Joseph Church Living Rosary Society, Florida, NY; Onion Harvest Festival Committee, Florida & Pine Island, NY; Florida Senior Citizens; Treasurer of the Florida Family Fun Fest; Treasurer of the SS Seward Institute Alumni; and a Graduate of SS Seward Institute.
She is survived by her sister, Adele M. Lempka of Florida, NY; brother, Edward J. Lempka & wife Brenda of Florida, NY; nephews, John P. Dever Jr. & wife Ruth of Midlothian, VA; James E. Dever & wife Harriett of Milford, PA; Richard M. Dever & wife Jane of Florida, NY; and Vincent R. Lempka & wife Carol of Florida, NY; great nephew, Michael J. Dever; great niece, Leaida A. Dever; great nephews Ryan J. Lempka & Alex C. Lempka; along with many cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Frances J. Dever and Pearl E. Lempka; brother-in-law, John P. Dever Sr.; nephew, Edward J. Lempka Jr.; and her great niece, Amanda Megan Dever.
Visitation will be held on Sunday November 7, 2021 from 2-6 pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral mass will be held 10AM on Monday November 8, 2021 at St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
Due to COVID 19, the funeral home and church are currently following the CDC guidelines regarding the use of masks.
