Stanley “Birdie” Sondey, 91 of New Hampton, NY, a retired carpenter, entered into rest on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at home.
The son of the late Martin & Catherine Iskra Sondey, he was born on November 19, 1930 in Wallington, NJ.
He was a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife Carol Grippe Sondey; son, Joseph Sondey; stepson, John Wiegand (Kim); stepdaughter, Darlene Beck (Marty); 4 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Sondey; sisters, Sophie Bialas & Stella Surdyka; grandson, Justin Scott; and beloved side-kick, his dog, Champ.
As per his wishes, there will be no services and cremation will be held privately.
