Obituary of Harold T. Wilson

Harold T. Wilson a lifelong resident of Warwick, NY, entered into rest on Sunday, July 05, 2015. He was 91. The son of the late Lester Wilson & Margaret Ryan Wilson, he was born June 20, 1924 in Warwick, NY. He was a self-employed dairy farmer for 30 years and then became the head groundskeeper for the Lewis Estate in Warwick for over 30 years before his retirement. He was a devoted member of the Warwick Historical Society for well over 20 years were he was actively involved in managing several of their buildings. Survivors include his son, James E. Wilson & wife Linda of Middletown, NY; brother, Lester Wilson & wife Betty of Warwick; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Anna Cichanowicz Wilson; brother, Clifford; and 3 sisters, Frances, Mildred & Margaret. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8th from 9-11AM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route# 1, Pine Island, NY 10969. Funeral mass will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, July 8th at St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island, NY. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island.
