Obituary of Gertrude C. Meduski

Gertrude C. Meduski of Florida, NY, entered into rest peacefully on Wednesday, July 6th.  She was 97.

Daughter of the late Peter and Mary Andryshak Mudrick, she was born on September 17, 1924.  A lifelong resident of Florida and Warwick.  She worked as a Registered Nurse which she was very proud of and would make known to all.

She was a member of St. Stephen, the First Martyr R.C. Church.  An avid golfer and long-time member of the Warwick Valley Country Club.  She played many tournaments and was a golf champion.  The strongest woman we know and always with a smile!  Gert was so loved and will greatly be missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Meduski; son, Mark Meduski; three grandchildren, Meghan, Shane and Kelsey Meduski; great grandchildren, Kassidy, Aubrey, Bryce, and Jameson; her best friend, Jenniee; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Stanley D. “Hack” Meduski of 63 years; brothers, Barney and Edward Mudrick and sister, Carolyn Benedict.

Graveside services will be held 10AM Friday, July 8^th at St. Joseph Cemetery, 616 Union Corners Road, Florida, NY 10921.
